it Seems so many men in their 40 and up are blocking women their age from writing . Even those who clearly mark that they do t want kids . Others express a clear preference for a younger woman . I’ve even been on dates with men who have blantantly ogled the much younger waitress and one who went on about how his mate was lucky enough to have scored a 30 yr old
Regardless of the endless arguments over whether this is biological or socially / ego driven how does an older woman who wants a partner her own age deal with this situation
It seems many of my friends have taken to dating much younger men and even calling them toyboys but I am not really interested in dating someone who I grew up in a different era to me and has more in common with my adult children .
So short if resolving myself to living alone what do I do other that try and maintain health and attractiveness of a healthy 50 year old woman ?

I am 68 and never imagined to be with anyone younger than 5 years. I am a successful and classy woman. However I met a neighbor and first became friends he is 31. We started to do more things together and conversations are never really felt like any conversations were generational. most are not. He formally asked me for a commitment 10 months ago which I reluctantly agreed to. However now I have no regrets. we plan on getting married, however we have a few issues to iron out. For now he is my serious boyfriend and we are madly in love.
