It’s been a month already since I received my husband’s last text message to us. He is an architect and is currently working in Chongqing, China. My children have been so curious as to why their dad is not communicating with us anymore. I can’t answer them coz I don’t have any idea what’s happening. I tried to talk to his co-worker, but no response at all. I am starting to get worried. Is he missing? Is he cheating on us? Knowing that a number of Chongqing women are present in his workplace in China. What should I do? Need help!

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure he's fine, he probably can't get signal or something.

Have you had an update from him since?

If not, then I'd be alarmed!

Wow! Im sorry that you are going through such a tough situation, especially beings that there are children envolved.
A few questions:
Has he been there long? If so, has he responded to you since he has been there, or not at all?
Does he work for a company, or is he self employeed/ self contractor?

Regardless of your answers to those, dont jump to conclusions!!!
Things to keep in mind: time is different there than here.
If it is a very large job, it could be very time consuming and exhausting. Especially, if he has never been there, it can be hard to make a transition into (a different world).
Calm your head and heart, give it some time, im sure he will be in touch.

Contact the U.S. embassy in China or your congressional representative.
