However, women are not.  Why is this the case?  What is the science behind it?  Also, ladies, do you feel creeped out by guys looking at you too much?  Anyway, I have never seen guys look at women.  In fact, when I saw another guy look at women (It was at university.). ;D I found it funny cause it was so dorky. ::)

Well, women are more visually oriented than you think!   In fact, I doubt a lot of the sayings regarding this stuff.  I mean, what does science say?  Anyway, if women are completely blind visually, then why are looks as important with men as with women (Look how guys are obsessed with the gym.)?

I think women are somewhat less visual, but visual nonetheless! In fact, it's no wonder they often want hunky, strong guys.  Isn't that right?

I don't think both men and women are visual. Men are just more obvious about it while we women are more modest and has a stronger will not to peep.

I think men are definitely MORE visual - it's easy to look around at magazines, movies, etc, and see that men are drawn to the things with scantily dressed women. This doesn't mean that women aren't visual at all - I think we're just less obvious and vocal about it. Unless we're talking to a friend, we don't generally comment on appearances the way that a guy might if a pretty girl walks by. Of course, there are exceptions...

I think women generally tend to focus on attributes other than appearance. Is the man kind, is he trustworthy, does he have a nice smile, is he someone you could see yourself with for years and years? Good looks are GREAT, but we know that looks fade. We need a guy that we're still going to love when he's wrinkly and bald.  ;D
