My new boyfriend was supposed to leave to visit his friends for Winter break but said he wasn't going because he would be tempted to cheat? (cheating as in flirting) He says he likes me more but doesn't want the risk.. He is a great boyfriend otherwise. Is that normal?

In my eyes thats not normal, if he loves you, and completly respects you 100% then the thought shouldnt even cross his mind.

That's a good thing and it shows he is thinking of you .

There are plenty of temptations out there and if he is a good looking guy he probably wants to shield himself from unwanted attention.
