Infertility Forum

Infertility is a common problem that affects around 1 in 7 couples that are trying to conceive, according to the NHS website, that's approximately 3.5 million people in the UK alone, and 6.1 million in the US. The word infertility is normally used when you have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and you haven't yet had any success. This infertility online support group has been created for members to talk about their stories, to support one another and to chat about their experience with trying to conceive. This infertility forum offers our users a space to share their journey and to listen to other members experiences.

Please be advised that the members of this infertility forum aren’t experts, nor qualified fertility doctors, it is important to see your GP if you have been having issues conceiving and getting pregnant. They will be able to help with a diagnosis and to ensure you get the correct treatment that you require.

If you are looking to see a private infertility doctor, then we would recommend speaking to your GP to obtain their advice as it is important that the clinic you are visiting is licensed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA).

More information regarding infertility can be found here on the NHS website. In the US, Womenshealth.gov is a useful source that has a helpline number open 9am - 6pm ET, Monday - Friday: 1-800-994-9662.
