I have just recently come back to the UK from a family trip to Florida. While we were there, we met this girl and her family from Pennsylvania after my grandmother ran over her foot with her mobility scooter. My mother bought her some popcorn to apologise and from there we started talking for about 30 minutes to an hour. They told us that they visit London every year so my mum gave them her name so they could look us up when they come back. Then we left and we didn't see each other for the rest of the holiday. Then yesterday, the girl's mother got in contact with mine and thanked her for the popcorn and for being so apologetic.
Now through the mother's Facebook page, I managed to find her daughter's Facebook and Instagram accounts. However, I'm having doubts about whether or not to contact her as it would seem creepy because she didn't give me this information herself. She never even told me her first name, it was her mother who did. I'm at a loss because I really liked her but I don't want to come off as a creep because she most probably didn't feel the same way and as such, wouldn't take too kindly to someone stalking her online. Even if we did get in touch, I wouldn't expect too much to come from it as we both live on different continents but I thought it would be nice to have an international friend who I could look forward to seeing every year. What should I do?
