I met a guy on a dating app, some days ago. He seemed very cultural inclined and he didn't ask the standard questions like : "Where are you from?" or "what are you looking for in this app?" We straight up began a very nice cultural conversation on cinema and food and similar interests. He was, lets say, different from other men on the app. I was enjoying getting to know him and we texted everyday (this is very recent).
Two days ago he said: I have something to ask you later on. And I answered : Well, what is it? And he kinda played the flirt card for the first time saying: Oh you're curious... Ill tell you later.
And because I am a very impatient and suspicious person I admit I waited until he got off work to know what that was.
He then said: I would like you to take a selfie of you just for me. A normal one just to have it with me and that is my own.
Well... I've been fooled so much lately that I don't know if I interpreted the request wrong but I just answered with three question marks and didn't respond or sent the picture.
Next morning he texted " Good Morning! You didn't text me back yesterday and I hope you are ok. If it was something I said Im sorry I didnt mean to hurt you. Have a beautiful day" - quite charming.
And I was so cold responding hours later with: "Hey. Ok. bye"
Was I rude? Was he being weird or just sweet and I just ruined it because I'm a mess??? Should I say something back now?
