Helping with schoolwork might be a way to meet new people and also tighten relationships already in existence.  So, have any of you done it?  Where have you?  Was it in a library or study hall?  At home?

Well yes, i have always done group studies with male and female friends. Although it feels more better when only males are studying hard together in the hostels. I feel bonds do develop when people meet, study and brainstorm towards a common goal. However I have done that more with my male friends.

Never done this myself, but I can see how it would be a good thing.  Anyway, it seems like a lot of couples went to college together back when I went.  I wonder if they studied together or even made similar grades!

I don't see anything wrong with this in many cases.  However, though, it might be a case where your partner is too soft on you.  In that case, a third party would be a better motivator.
