This can be a big problem as the old partner might know your every move.  Also, it doesn't help out in the sense the partner is just glaring at the screen - feeding his/her hate.  So anyway, what can we do about this stuff?  :-[

There could be software to see if the stalker (and also maybe random pervs, LOL) are clicking on pictures.  Also, as I mentioned on another thread, you can simply ban the known stalker from accessing your profiles and, on top of that, you might want to take more extreme measures depending on the severity of the sitution - things like, changing emails and phone numbers, getting a weapon, and phoning police.

I'd say banning the person is good enough.  However, if the person goes past social media, then of course, police should be phoned.  Anyone agree?

Stalking on an exes social media accounts can be so irritating and disturbing. It helps boost the anger, jealousy and hatred in someone's heart. Either way, blocking or banning on the stalker's media account is the best thing to do.

However, another question can be raised, what if the stalker made a dummy account to stalk his/her exes social media account? This can be more irritating, isn't it? If this is the case, the only thing that you can do is 'just ignore' or try to report him/her to the anti-cyber crime group in your country.

It can be difficult especially in the cyber era. So you might want to consider changing your posts to private. It's actually difficult in the sense that no solution might be permanent. Especially, if your stalker is determined. So maybe drastic changes can be made if you're ready for them.

Such as changing physical address and stuff like that. Though, only in extreme cases.

Do not accept any friend request from someone you do not know. Also keep away from those account that only made recently and did not even reach of an existence. If they chat on you, check first their profile, if they have been aggressive report them immediately and block them without hesitating. If they only stalking then I think there is no problem, but if they are taking actions like messaging your relatives, following your current locations, then I think precautions should be the top priority above any else that you should have on your mind.

Banning the individual may be enough, if this doesn't work than the police should be noticed, they will take the measures to stop the individual.

the only thing I can say is haha, haha because after breakup I'm always stalking him, then when everytime I do stalking him I noticed he's happy so I decided to move on and stop stalking him because I'm just gonna hurt myself, because it's unfair that he forgot you already but you're still assuming that there is still a chance.  so for me stop stalking anyone specifically your ex profile because you have no longer right to do that you should burn his/her picture, burn all the possible memories like teddy bears or gifts.. he dont or she dont deserve your tears so move on. 😊

That's really sad. But you have a point. We shouldn't dwell on past mistakes. If they could do it, then so can we. Let's move on towards a brighter future. We're worth so much more than we give ourselves credit. Stay positive and believe in good things.  :D
