I have seen a lot of wedding proposals on the Internet and I noticed that they were all doing the same scenarios, kneeling when proposing.

I am just curious about it, is it really necessary to kneel when making a marriage proposal? What does it symbolize?

I believe it's a sign of humbling themselves to the woman they want to marry because getting a girl to say YES to your marriage proposal is the only thing I'm sure that no man will achieve by being arrogant.

If the girl senses that you aren't humble and affectionate with your marriage proposal, she most likely won't accept the offer and turn you down. So, men be more humble and ask us to marry you and we will always accept.

Thanks for the input! I agree with you, humbling themselves when asking a marriage proposal is also a sign of sincerity and faithfulness to the woman they love. I love the statement you said, 'So, men be more humble and ask us to marry you and we will always accept," we, women have soft hearts and we are really emotional especially when it comes to proposals like this.

For me,  the reasons why men usually kneels when making a marriage proposals as signs of their genuine truthfulness of their intentions of doing so.  Of course,  sign of respect and to make it that very moment remarkable and unforgettable to women and as to make them extraordinarily special to men.

Finally, a man commented on this post. Thanks for your opinion. :) May I ask, have you ever proposed to someone special to marry you? Do you think kneeling is necessary?
