If a guy is chatting with a woman one-on-one and he's holding and squeezing a ball in his hand while talking/looking at her, what does that mean?

Hi @Kelly, I think this all depends on the type of person he is and his situation.

It could be nerves that's caused because he's socially awkward, stressed or because he likes you and he's generally nervous to be sat with you (which can sometimes be a good thing).

I am personally quite a fidgety chap and tbh, I move around a lot when speaking to people which may give off a nervous impression, but I'm really not nervous, it's just the type of person I am. I can't sit still, he may be similar.

Are you able to provide us with some more detail in regards to what you were talking about, how old you are and how you both know each other? What is his relationship status? What is your status?

We need more detail.

He and I are friends. I'm in my 20's, he's in his 30's. I'm single and he's in a relationship.

It could be ADHD. People who have ADHD will do toe-tapping, thigh-pumping, pencil-fiddling, twiddling, etc.

It means he's holding and squeezing a ball. Some people do things like that to relieve stress, some people do it because they have a ball in their hand.

Calm down.
