Vaginismus is involuntary contraction of muscles around the opening of the vagina in women with no abnormalities in the genital organs. The tight muscle contraction makes sexual intercourse or any sexual activity that involves penetration painful or impossible....I met this girl some four months ago, we both fell in love with each. Then she told me of her condition, being the first time I was hearing this condition in a woman, I was thinking it was something that can be cured.
I have researched on it and found out, it is a rear condition with no cure... Women with this condition cant lead a normal sex life.
All what we do in our relationship is foreplay... And she has very poor sex drive.
She is a very jealous type, she loves me so much and always talks of marriage.
I need advice on this, I am very scared of ending this relationship, I'm afraid of hurting her emotions and at the same time I can't subject my self to a life without sex.

I know this medical condition all too well. She would always 'hate' having sex and cried during it. All she knew about sex was that it was this terribly painful experience, and thus in the same way as putting a hand on a hot stove burner, the brain associates it as off-limits. It's probably not the drive, as much as it is the reality.

My advice is, are there alternatives you both can do? Oral or Anal?

In all honesty, just dating a girl, you have to compare love versus sex. Really think of the scenario, as with another girl, you might possibly be having sex on a daily basis that you'll love just as much. Do you want to take sex off the table, for life, over a woman you've known 4 months? Maybe.

She deserves love as much as anyone, and a healthy relationship. Just don't do anything until you've made that commitment either way. The last thing you want is a divorce, or to cheat.

But maybe your current woman is your emotional soulmate. What happens if you meet that sexual Casanova, get married, and a week later is in a car accident and can't have sex.

Thanks so much for your advice, I wish she could adhere to those options you pointed out... She's so placid when it comes to sex
