So I met this guy on Instagram, he lives in the same city as me and we decided to meet the same day. The date went really good and we continued talking, everything seemed good we’d gone on 4 more dates. and then he stopped texting me. Last thing he said was he wanted to see me again which I agreed to, no set plans were ever made.waited 2 days to text him and also had a friend  he doesn’t know text him just saying hey cause I wanted to see if he’d reply to her. He didn’t but replied to me saying, he’s been having phone issues and asked how I was. Now this wouldn’t be a problem but he’s liking pictures and uploading stories on Instagram. I’m just confused as to what happened

I would always advice that we should speak of the issues in between a relationship. It might hurt one's Ego, though it may save you one of the most important thing's,  a relationship.
