To start this off: I have been in my fair share of toxic relationships and situations. I've been on a solid and loving path these past few years. Self love, acceptance, and healing. The whole shadoodle! Carefully choosing the best options for myself. I have also found a man I like to the point of love sickness. . . it's only been two months!

He's so cool. It's not that he does tacky cool things. No, his coolness comes from how well we get along. How neither of us are entirely comfortable around people but LOVE to socialize. He took me to a greenhouse and let me point out every plant I knew anything about. (I'm a plant fanatic.) His sense of humor is ongoing and deep. He loves to laugh.

I didn't get to see him for two weeks. The first thing we do when we hang out is relax completely, discuss our lives softly, and laugh. I told him I missed him about twenty minutes in... and he laughed. It didn't bother me until I was heading home.

I really like this guy and I've tried to cure the love sickness:
-Making a list of all the 'cons'
-Not being the first to text him (he messaged me in two days)
-Maintaining myself as my own priority.

We both have under developed self esteem. How do I lift the spell besides waiting it out?

There's about a 20 year gap. He's older.
