Hopeless

Dating man for almost 2 years. We  live far from each other and it takes almost 2 hours to go in one direction. I am 60 years old and he is 67 years old. He has his own medical firm and works almost 6 days a week so that does not leave a lot of time for us to be together. Specifically we only see each other on Saturday night until after dinner on Sunday night. I live in a large home which I would like to sell but I have no idea where to live since I still work in this area. I thought  we were going to make plans to live together somewhere in between where we both work. I mentioned living together this year and he seemed somewhat interested and then it fell silent. I then took some steps to start selling my home until I realized that he avoided the subject. I asked him what his intentions were and he has told me he does not want to leave his home and make it inconvenient to go to work so he was going to wait until he closed his office in a few years to live with me. I explained to him that seeing him one night a week was not a full relationship and that I wasn’t sure I could wait a few years. He is a great guy and gets along with my adult children but I don’t think I wanna wait a few years at this age to live with him as opposed to living alone six nights out of the week which is very lonely. What is your Advice?

That sounds like a difficult one, however, I completely agree, I don't think a relationship can work from only seeing each other one a day week, personally.
